Juanjo Varela is a distinguished UEFA Level III PRO Coach, PE teacher, and Scouting & Tactical Analysis Specialist with a robust background in sports massage, nutrition, as well as personal fitness. His career has taken him across Spain, Singapore, and China, where he has imparted his extensive knowledge and skills to athletes at various levels. His passion for the profession led him to Beijing (China) where he coached and managed the youth teams of a professional club, Huawen FC, winning the Beijing International Tournament in 2016. He was also a professional football player in several teams in Spain.

Juanjo's expertise extends beyond coaching, encompassing the critical aspects of player health and performance. He is now returning to the Real Madrid Foundation Football & Basketball School, where he previously made a significant impact during an earlier stint with us. He is eager to bring his international experience and comprehensive approach to player development back to this prestigious sports institution, contributing to the holistic growth and success of its players.
